Why local-only matters

The pictures people need to clean are the ones they should not upload: a customer record, a password in a screenshot, a child’s face, a plate on a car they are about to sell. Sending that file to “a privacy tool” so the tool can hide it is a strange trade. The editor here uses the browser canvas. The image is decoded on your machine, the boxes you draw are applied there, and the download is a new PNG. I do not get the pixels.

That also means I cannot recover a file for you, and I cannot scan a photo and find every face automatically. You draw the rectangles. Automatic detection would be a different product, and it would be a reason to upload. This one does not.

What it is

One editor. You can blur, pixelate, or cover a region with a solid black box, undo, and export. The pages under names like “blur a license plate” or “black out text” open that same editor with a starting mode and notes for that job. They are not separate apps and they do not send the file anywhere different.

What it is not

• Not a cloud photo editor, and not a place that stores your pictures.
• Not automatic face detection, OCR, or a promise that every sensitive pixel will be found for you.
• Not a legal certification. A black box is a strong visual cover. It does not by itself satisfy a court, a hospital, or an employer’s redaction policy.
• Not encryption of the original file. If you still have the original, so does anyone you already sent it to. Share the exported PNG.
• Not a paid product. There is no watermark and no account. The site may show ads if AdSense is configured. That does not change where the image is processed.

How to use it in one pass

Open the homepage, drop a JPG, PNG, or WebP, or paste a screenshot. Draw over the part that should disappear. Use black box for secrets and a strong blur or pixelate for a face or a plate. Export, open the PNG, and read it once before you attach it to anything.
